One of the most effective ways that you can help Raise a Smile continue to work in Zambia is to donate.

You can help our projects financially either:

with a one off donation

Become a Raise a Smile Member

Becoming a Raise a Smile member is not only the best way for you to help us but it will also allow you to influence how donations are spent! As a member you will receive the “Raise a Smile Members Newsletter” which will tell you all about how our projects are going and give you the opportunity to vote on which projects you want your donation to be spent on. Plus you will also be able to enter special members’ competitions with prizes such as Raise a Smile Merchandise and hand-made crafts/foods/products etc. from Zambia.

When you become a member you can choose between supporting us with €5, €9 or €19 per month* which will entitle you to the benefits listed above plus the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to improve the lives of children in Zambia. All of our staff work on a voluntary basisi so 100% of all donations received will be spent directly on helping the projects we support (after the fee’s taken off by Paypal, banks etc.).

To become a member please click on the member buttons below. Payment will be taken from your account monthly via Paypal. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Paypal account they are free, quick and easy to set up and you can use most credit or debit cards to make a regular payment with.

One off Donations

There are currently a few methods for you to donate to Raise a Smile:

Via your paypal account
Using your debit or credit card (including Visa, Maestro, Mastercard and more) via Paypal
With a bank transfer (please contact us via email for details)
By cheque

Please note that if possible we would prefer donations of greater than €200 to be made via bank transfer or cheque as these 2 methods incur lower fee’s meaning a bigger percentage of your donation ends up in Raise a Smile’s bank account.

Paypal (including Visa, Maestro, Mastercard and more)

Probably the easiest way for you to make a donation is via paypal. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Paypal account they are free, quick and easy to set up and you can use most credit or debit cards to make a donation. All donations are taken in Euros (€) so before you donate you might want to check the latest exchange rate (Raise a Smile is not responsible for the content of external links). Bank Transfer

If you would like to make a donation via a bank transfer please email us and we will send you our details. We prefer larger donations (greater than €200) to be made via bank transfer or cheque as these 2 methods incur lower fee’s meaning almost 100% of your donation ends up in Raise a Smile’s bank account rather than paypal’s.
